Data Privacy
CMS Vacances (SAS), as the data controller, is pleased to welcome you to our website and thanks you for your interest in our company. We take the protection of your privacy very seriously when you use our website. For this reason, we ask that you take note of the following information:
Anonymous Data Collection
You can visit the websites operated by the responsible entity without having to disclose your identity. We only know the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you are visiting us, and the pages you view on our site. This information is processed for statistical purposes. As an individual user, you remain anonymous.
Collection and Processing of Personal Data
Personal data will only be collected if you voluntarily provide it to us, for example when registering on the agency’s website, participating in a survey, or signing up for personalized services. As part of the responsible body’s personalized services, your registration data will be processed—subject to your consent—for advertising and market analysis purposes or to create electronic services, as needed. You may object to the storage of your personal data at any time. Please send us an email to dpo-extern@aer.de with the subject line: “Delete available data.”
The processing and use of your personal data are carried out in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law.
Data Transfer and Processing to Countries Outside the European Economic Area
No data is transferred to countries outside the EEA. The service providers engaged by the data controller are headquartered and operate their IT infrastructure exclusively within the EEA. Contracts with these service providers comply with data protection and security standards in accordance with the European Data Protection Directive and German data protection law. Even when external service providers are engaged, SAS CMS Vacances remains the data controller.
Use and Transfer of Personal Data
Personal data collected on the websites of the responsible party may be used without your consent solely for the duration of contract fulfillment and the processing of your inquiries. However, your data may be used for advertising or market analysis purposes, as well as for the development of electronic services tailored to your needs, only after your prior consent has been obtained. Your data may be used for personalized advertising only if you give your consent. Since consent to the use of your data for the purposes listed above may also include the transfer of your data to the responsible department and to selected partners of the responsible department, your data may also be transferred to these parties. However, no data will be transferred to third parties. You may, of course, revoke your consent at any time, without retroactive effect.
External Links
To keep you as well-informed as possible, we provide links to third-party websites on our pages. In cases where this is not clearly identifiable, we will indicate that it is an external link. The responsible service provider has no influence over the content or design of these pages, which are created by other operators. The guarantees set forth in this privacy policy therefore do not apply to external service providers.
Use of Cookies
The responsible service uses “cookies” to measure and individually optimize website traffic and the time customers spend online. A cookie is a text file that is temporarily stored in the computer’s RAM (“session cookie”) or saved to the computer’s hard drive (“persistent cookie”). Cookies may contain, for example, information about the user’s previous visits to the relevant servers, or information indicating which offers the user has viewed so far. Cookies are not used to run programs or install viruses on your computer. Cookies are primarily used to tailor the content offered to the user and to make using the service as convenient as possible.
The service provider uses both temporary and permanent cookies.
Temporary cookies
The responsible service primarily uses temporary cookies, which are not stored on the user’s hard drive and are deleted when the browser is closed. Temporary cookies are used here for user identification and load balancing.
Persistent Cookies
The responsible service also uses “persistent cookies” to save the personal usage settings that a customer configures while using the services, in order to personalize and improve the service. Thanks to persistent cookies, the customer can be sure to find the personal settings they have configured when returning to the websites. In addition, service providers commissioned by the responsible party to analyze user behavior use persistent cookies to recognize regular users. These services store the data transmitted by the cookies exclusively in anonymous form. No association with the customer’s IP address is established.
Blocking Cookies
The customer may refuse the use ofcookies at any time. To do so, the customer generally needs to select the corresponding option in the browser settings or install additional software. For more information, please refer to the help function of the browser you are using. However, if you decide to disable cookies, this may limit the scope of the service and have a negative impact on your use of the services provided by the responsible operator.
Use of Analytics Tools
The responsible party conducts or commissions analyses of its users’ behavior in connection with the use of its service. For this purpose, anonymous or pseudonymous user profiles are created. These user profiles are created solely for the purpose of continuously improving the service provided by the responsible party.
On the website www.aerticket.fr, only the Matomo web analytics tool is used. Since this tool is not hosted by an external service provider but is implemented directly on the responsible service’s server environment, no data is transferred to third parties. This privacy policy therefore applies directly to Matomo.
